Wendy sometimes feels the need to go back to her core values and asks herself: What do I want to share with people? Her main goal on the platform is to help women search for their true selves. In the words of Wendy herself: ‘Life goes on and on, but eventually the most important thing is to stay true to yourself and choose what makes you happy. Regardless of what others may expect of you. You only live once, life is no dress rehearsal, and it's so important to follow your own path and the peace and love to find and keep within yourself.’

To encourage others in the same situation or to spread a message in extremely vulnerable topics, for which there is a lot of respect. Wendy often enters the conversation herself. She does this in her TV shows, online, and recently also in a podcast together with Make-A-Wish, for which she has been an ambassador for 15 years.

Wendy once said: ‘All stories deserve to be heard, whether they end well or not. Every story contains so many valuable and inspiring elements. It is very nice that the podcast medium offers the peace and space to do justice to those stories. I have been an ambassador for Make-A-Wish Netherlands for years, you see children shine again and continue full of strength, after their wish has been fulfilled. That is the reason for me to support Make-A-Wish.’
